Starbucks, Hough Retail Park | Stafford

Trident Building Consultancy were appointed to carry out the project management, contract administration and cost consultancy services, to deliver a new-build Starbucks coffee pod with drive-through lane in Stafford.

Our scope of work included co-ordinating the design by external architects, structural engineers and consultants, planning application and dealing with Highways in relation to a Section 278 and 111 application to create a new junction into the main highway, dealing with the utility providers to divert all existing mains services, and create a new service road providing access into the existing service yard.

The coffee pod had to be constructed to strict deadlines to meet the requirements of the new tenants, Starbucks, taking a lease on the development and in order to start trading by a specific date, which was achieved. We carried out full project management of the contract works and provided full cost consultancy services.

The development including coffee pod, new service road, drive-through lane, external lighting, soft landscaping, signage and the internal fit-out was completed on time and within budget; resulting in a very satisfied developer, and tenant.
