Noma | Isleworth
Trident acted as Project Manager, Contract Administrator and Cost Manager for the conversion of Nomadic House to residential use. The existing building was constructed in 1999 and arranged over 2 storeys providing office accommodation.
The scheme comprises converting the existing Ground and First Floors to create “Noma” – 25 residential units – including forming a new structural deck at First Floor level. The existing roof will be removed and extended to provide an additional 5 nr units with balcony space.
As the proposed flats are located at roof level the design approach was to minimize the impact and bulk of the scheme when viewed at a distance from outside the site, as well as respecting the effect on the neighbouring properties.
This has been achieved by setting the flats within the central roof well behind the perimeter mansard roof.
