Trident’s Birmingham office acted as Project Manager, Contract Administrator and Principal Designers on the refurbishment of the main entrance and ground floor reception of the multi tenanted city centre office building, including lift lobbies to all 9No. floors of 134 Edmund Street.

The buildings reception and lift lobby were dated and required extensive refurbishment to provide a high contemporary specification.

Trident identified an architectural practice to provide interior architectural design services, suitable for a multi occupied city centre building based on previous works together.

The project was completed within the client’s budget with limited tenant disruption and the property has been transformed to provide a modern, efficient and contemporary entrance and reception area and lift lobbies.

  • A temporary secure reception had to be established and maintained during the works, together with continued unrestricted access to all 9No. floors
  • Heavily restricted access and logistical constraints
  • Weekend and night timing working, with neighbours including restaurants, offices and conference facilities
