A message from our executive director, Trevor Dowd

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 health threat, we at Trident have been working to ensure that we prioritise the health and wellbeing of our people, while remaining fully available to meet our clients’ needs.

We wanted to let you know that following the Government’s latest guidance issued on Monday 16th March, all of our personnel in the UK have been working remotely. The team in Dublin was already working remotely to comply with the guidance from the Irish government.

Over the past two weeks, our business continuity processes have been stress-tested, so we can be sure we have the systems in place to remain fully available to our clients at all times. We have the technology to access all of our current instruction information, to conduct meetings online or via video conference call, and we are still able to accommodate attendance at our offices for business-critical matters – if necessary and following the latest public health guidance. Most, if not all, of the live building projects we manage/monitor are still progressing on site and we receive regular assurances from contractors that they intend to continue their contract works so we continue to undertake inspections as required to protect our client’s interests.
