Trident was appointed to provide an initial construction appraisal of the above and then asked to pro-vide monthly progress monitoring reports throughout the duration of the project.
The development comprised the construction of 4 new distribution / light industrial warehouses along with ancillary first floor office accommodation, external secure yards and associated external hard and soft landscaping. Works to the public highway under a Section 278 Notice were also required.
The site is located on a brownfield site close to London Stansted Airport.
Our involvement in the project included advising on potential contractors to undertake the works and providing assistance to the project team throughout the tender process after the initial tender period was revised to accommodate design changes required by our client who were purchasing the development on practical completion.
