Trident was instructed to provide technical due diligence in relation to the acquisition of an existing, purpose built retail park in a prominent location of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands.
The investment was a well-established retail park providing retail warehousing for a variety of tenants. At the time of inspection, the investment included occupied and vacant premises and the client was seeking advice in relation to their suitability for purchase. The service included providing advice on potential ongoing financial obligations relating to repair and maintenance of vacant units and common parts.
The brief extended to technical building due diligence and inspection of the subjects culminating in the production of a pre-acquisition survey report, along with advice on planned maintenance and necessary repair work.
