Design and obtain statutory approvals for refurbishment and extension of the reception serving the occupied offices.

The works include removal of the existing entrance canopy and glazed floor level. A new two storey height glass and stainless steel portico was designed together with fully glazed revolving doors set into a new glazed reception frontage. All new external cladding, signage and paving was also specified. The work was undertaken whilst the busy building remained fully occupied and it was important that access was maintained for the tenants at all times.

We have also undertaken Category A refurbishment of the five floors on a phased basis over the past five years at an approximate cost of £7M. The key to undertaking much significant works with an occupied building is communication with the tenant s and strong management of the works.
