Trident was instructed as Project Monitor on behalf of Ahli United Bank (UK) Plc on the speculative development of this 18,584m ² (200,000ft ²) distribution centre in Ravensbank Business Park, Redditch.
We initially queried the extremely competitive build rates and these were justified to us by the developer s contractor following a diligent review period.
Given that the scheme was speculative, attention to detail was of paramount importance. By way of example, the developer s contractor was required to demonstrate to us that the floor tolerance was strictly within the design parameters.
The works were completed on programme and to budget and the scheme was fully let shortly after completion.
