Technology isn’t an industry, but a way of improving the success and efficiency of our systems and our organisations.
The introduction of technology to property and construction arguably started in the ’90s, once it was understood what this new tool could do. Since then, technology has exponentially increased in its speed and significance, firstly in on-site machinery and mechanics and now branching out into CRM software, big data analysis and blockchain security.
Trident, alongside the RICS, GoReport and Teesside University, surveyed over 300 people within the construction and property industries to see how much technology is affecting the industry and if “PropTech” is a help or a hindrance.
