Trident “Shoot and Cruise Day” 2008

Trident’s annual shooting day was given a subtle twist this year as 27 hosts and guests made their way by barge from Tower Pier down the River Thames past the Thames Barrier and moored up for an afternoon’s clay shoot. Miraculously,despite the weather forecast indicating rain, we were blessed with some sunshine; no doubt the influence of Roger Watts, our Chairman, who was sharing his birthday with us.

After a tense competition, Ashim Sharma of Ashwell Rogers won the day with a 96% success rate, followed closely by Ed Clow-Wilson of RREEF. Third place was shared between Heneage Stevenson of Bee Bee Developments and David Clarke of ING Real Estate.

The day was a great success with breakfast and lunch served aboard, enhanced by the opening of Tower Bridge on two occassions for departure and arrival.
