Trident have recently completed a £7m advanced CAT A refurbishment of Friary Court, London in a Project Management capacity.  A role which also extended to advising the client on the incoming Tenant’s CAT B fit out work.

This 5 storey, 6,440m² (70,000ft²) office building, located close to Fenchurch Street station in the City was originally constructed circa 1984.  Following a complete strip out of the dated interior, the scheme included a high spec, advanced shell and core refurbishment with new high quality WC and staff welfare facilities.  The project also incorporated a new contemporary entrance lobby reception to the ground floor, formed by extending into an original external undercroft.
Along with new energy efficient, daylight controlled, lighting system, the scheme included complete new HVAC plant and distribution, new lifts and a new electrical substation.
Despite the complexities of the scheme, the project was completed on a 26 week contract period prior to the incoming tenant’s fit out programme.
