We are sailing….

We are sailing….

Trident’s Glasgow Office and Clients took part in the 2007 Clyde Property Cruise over the course of the weekend in a chartered 43 foot Gib-Sea sailing yacht.

On race Saturday the course consisted of a start point at Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, leading up the East and West Kyles and finishing at Tarbert.

The crew started well, passing the starter marker in first position, however, they could only go in one direction from that point onwards as the winds fell and the rest of the competitors caught up.

35 yachts competed in the competition with only 4 managing to complete the distance without ‘motoring up’.

Overall, the weekend was still very enjoyable and the crew managed to get a great sail back on Sunday from Tarbert to Kip Marina where the yacht was moored. 

All clients and Trident crew were accounted for.
