Trident raise the roof!

Trident recently completed roof refurbishment works of two flat roofs located within Glasgow City Centre. The existing roof build up consisted of an inverted flat roofing system, incorporating a heavy pebble ballast and insulation on top of the waterproofing membrane, all of which had to be completely removed from site prior to installation of the new waterproofing system.


Trident liaised with the local authority to obtain statutory consents and to arrange suitable methods of working within the busy city centre location. A new built up mineral felt roofing system was specified to provide the client with peace of mind - the completed system benefits from a 20 year insurance back guarantee.


Despite works commencing in November and progressing through one of Scotland’s harshest winters in years, the project was completed 2 weeks ahead of programme and under the original budget. This project illustrates Trident’s ability to progress instructions under challenging circumstances whilst maintaining the client’s expectations in relation to timescales and cost control.
