St Andrews tamed

Trident held its 2010 Scottish Golf Day on Thursday 27 May at the superb re-designed Torrance Course at Fairmonts St. Andrews Bay Resort, home to this summer’s Seniors Open. 

It was a keenly contested event, with several of the teams posting commendable scores on a day which started brightly in warm sunshine but ended in squally blustery conditions. 

Head and shoulders above the rest of the field, metronomically striking the ball around the course, was Will Marchington of MWM who scored a total of 41 points from a handicap of 22. Needless to say, this handicap will be reviewed before the 2011 event.
