Trident monitor developments for funds and banks the length and breadth of the country. One current instruction is a new speculative warehouse facility on the vast Kingswood Lakeside Business Park in Cannock.
The building is situated just at the northern end of the Birmingham toll road on a site of over 7 acres. On completion the building will provide 11,102 sqm (119,500 sqft) of warehouse space and 650 sqm (7,000 sqft) of ancillary offices.
In this case we are acting for a bank who are funding a special purpose vehicle set up for the scheme.
Our principle concerns in this case were the sub-ground conditions and overhead HT cabling. In both cases the developers had done their homework with ample pre-contract research.
The project is a few weeks in to a tight seven month programme. To date all is progressing as planned despite the vagaries of the English weather.
