Goodbard House - Leeds

Trident’s Manchester office have just completed Project Managing the phased refurbishment of office suites within Goodbard House in Leeds city centre.

As part of a rolling programme, existing Tenants have been relocated to completed floors, freeing up their previous space for more improvements.  New Tenants have already moved in to one of the refurbished suites.

This impressive Grade II Listed Building was built in 1905 as a combination of offices and the Hotel de Ville on the upper floors with shop units below.

Once home to JS Fry and Sons, chocolate manufacturers, it now houses the Allied Irish Bank on the ground floor with four floors of office space above.  Improvements to the offices include installation of comfort cooling and ventilation, new vdu compatible lighting, replacement floor finishes and redecoration to provide a bright, flexible and contemporary working environment within a character building.

In addition to arranging the works on behalf of the Landlord, Trident have been engaged to manage fit out works for one of the Tenants too.

Trident’s experience of dealing with historic city centre buildings with occupiers in situ combined with a determined, hands on approach has been key to the success of this project.
