Trident was appointed to project manage the redevelopment of the Middlesex Hospital Annex site on Cleveland Street, London. The project comprised a residential redevelopment scheme incorporating around 101 units, including a proportion of affordable housing.
The initial brief required Trident to consider the feasibility of redeveloping the site for D1 (non-residential institution) use by the Trust. Trident was subsequently instructed to prepare another feasibility review, this time including a residential option with a view to maximising the potential of the site. Our role required careful liaison with the various internal and external stakeholders, together with the many consultants involved. This included, in particular, liaison with the planning consultant, valuation surveyor, the local community and English Heritage.
Following the submission of the feasibility report, the client opted to commission the residential redevelopment scheme and Trident project managed the scheme up to the point of submission of a detailed planning application.
