Trident provided advice on the feasibility for a redevelopment project comprising the conversion of the existing upper floor office space to residential use and adding an additional floor and mezzanine level over two buildings.
The proposed residential use provided nine units with 7no. one bed flats or studio flats, 1no. two bedroom flat and 1no. three bedroom two level penthouse flat with mezzanine floor and roof terrace area. The proposed conversion project retained the existing retail space at ground floor and part basement along with creating additional retail space at basement level.
The client brief required the project to be assessed within an existing planning consent for the conversion to residential use which was inherited with the purchase of the property. The feasibility exercise involved managing the input from a number of consultants due to the complexity of the scheme.
